For more information on the NBC smash hit Smash, visit their official website.
Diana Dawn can be heard on her radio show every Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. streamed live from SonomaSunFM.
Today, we were in our local paper and you can check that out online. Thank you Emily Charrier-Botts! As with any new venture, we were having growing pains and some of the info has changed. We are now downloadable only at iTunes and the YouTube channel is a companion show. But we really appreciate the publicity!!
Here is your official recap of the round table discussion available for free download on iTunes.
Jason from G5 Radio: He was not only our interviewer for the segment yet to be loaded, but volunteered to do our intro. Hear his production skills every Friday night from 5-7 p.m. on G5 Radio. They are broadcast locally through Sun FM 91.3 KSVY Sonoma as well as throughout cyber space on iRadioLA.
We recorded on location at the Roche Winery Eerry Shanogue Private Tasting Room:
Family owned and operated since 1987. Daily vineyard bike tours, daily barrel tastings, indoor & outdoor wine tasting bars, shaded garden patio & outdoor fireplace, and the tasting room now serves food.
Facebook addiction: The study was performed by University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the apps we mentioned were Who Unfriended You and Unfriend Finder, and to find out if you may be an addict check out these six syptoms.
Also, find us on FB! Just search for Pop Corny the Podcast and “like” us.
You’ve found our blog here, but also check out the blog of Cat or Gina. We will have info that was interesting but didn’t quite make it to the round table as well as topics on our minds throughout the week.
Finally, our WTF award, with no prize given, went to YouTube’s own TheReplyGirl. Her video on “chirts,” lol shirts can be seen at that link. To hear her bathroom filming woes, watch this. And, if you live in Montreal, Canada and want to go shopping, visit HKR Collections.
The video from our interview on Some Like it Hot is now on YouTube. Yes, we know the end is cut off. I had a friend do the editing as apparently, I don’t have the means to edit Quicktime format for now. I don’t think anything we were saying beyond that point was important. Except for may the story of Gina falling off my bed. We can add that in at another time. Enjoy!

Welcome to the Pop Corny Podcast blog! We are so excited you have found us here. Every week, we will post what is coming up on the shows and ways to participate without actually listening live. After each show, we will post a recap with information on bonus downloads, information on all guests, and links to everything you need to know.
But I digress. I bet you’re wondering what Pop Corny Podcast is and who the heck are Gina and Cat? Well, I’m Cat and I will be your tour guide through this blog.
Gina Panelli and I are like a modern day Laverne & Shirley. We grew up together in Sonoma, having been long time friends for over thirty years. This connection makes our on air personalities very entertaining as we seem to complete one brain. I am very creative, leaning towards the artsy topics in life, while Gina is extremely logical with a practical knowledge of current events.
The show is called Pop Corny and will feature a round table discussion on pop culture happenings and current events, as well as guest interviews and listener feedback. Our motto is, “Learn with us and from us as we recap the week’s events.” The weekly episodes, usually in two parts, are available for download on iTunes.
We have a companion site on YouTube where we will host short, entertaining interviews with new and noteworthy people. The weekly episodes on iTunes will be separate downloads for the Round Table Discussion and guest interviews. Although we pick topical discussions for the Round Table, we hope they will be entertaining enough to be listened to anytime.
For Episode 1, we have spent a lot of time picking just the right topics for our inaugural round table discussion. We are not at all bored by these topics and fear there won’t be enough time to discuss all of them. We both have blogs (which you can find on the contact page of this main blog) where we will post opinions on the topics we run out of time for. Since they are carefully chosen, we don’t want our listeners to miss out on any of them. Throughout the week, we will also be posting items that won’t be making it into the podcast, but yet we still feel worthy of a ramble.
The first guest on Episode one will be Jason Ghiselin of G5 Radio as he turns the tables on your hosts. It’s time to learn why you should listen to us and what our backgrounds are. If you already have a question for either host or both, go ahead and email us at popcornypodcast@gmail.com and we’ll add to Jason’s cheat sheet. Make sure you give us a name, even if an alias.
